DUO pieces return policy

Please note that DUO pieces (both - natural diamond piece and its lab grown twin) are made to order and are considered bespoke items. As such, they cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.

 

  • We understand that sizing can sometimes be challenging. Therefore, we offer a complimentary resizing service for rings.
  • Rings can be resized up to 2 sizes up or down.
  • To initiate a resizing, please contact our customer service team with your order number and the new size required.
  • Once we confirm your resizing request, please securely package and send the ring back to us. We will resize the ring and send it back to you at no additional cost.

    Non-bespoke pieces return policy

    We accept returns for non-bespoke pieces (not DUO collection) within 30 days of purchase.

    To qualify for a full refund or exchange, your item(s) need to be in unused, pristine condition with the original tag intact or included with the product. Please note that our operations team will evaluate all returns before acceptance, a process typically taking 7-10 days. Engraved items, bespoke, special orders, and resized items are ineligible for return or exchange.

     

    Initiating the Return Process

    If you wish to return your order for an exchange or refund due to dissatisfaction, please follow these simple steps:

     

    1. Contact us at sales@bomond.co.uk with your name, order number, the courier used for the return, tracking number, and reasons for return.
    2. Utilize the original or similar-sized packaging and address the parcel to our returns address. (For international customers, we will email a FedEx label for return.)
    3. Include all accompanying certifications and paperwork received with the order. Failure to do so may delay the refund or result in a deduction from the total refund amount.
    4. Ensure the courier insures the item for its full order value and uses a reputable, guaranteed postal service.

    Kindly refrain from indicating 'diamonds,' 'BOMOND,' or 'diamond jewellery' on the external packaging or address label. BOMOND cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss during shipment.

     

     

    Refunds and exchanges

    Upon receiving your returned item(s), our Quality Assessment Team will conduct an inspection. Any signs of wear, damage, resizing, alteration, or tampering will render the item ineligible for a refund.

     

    Once approved by our Quality Assessment Team, refunds will be processed within 8-10 days, varying based on the payment method used.

     

    We highly recommend examining your item upon delivery and promptly informing us of any defects or damage at sales@bomond.co.uk.

     

    Damaged & Used Items

    In the event of receiving a damaged package or item, kindly refuse delivery or promptly contact us at sales@bomond.co.uk. Please notify us of any damage within 24 hours of receiving your item or package.

     

    Returned merchandise must maintain an unworn, pristine condition. Any indications of wear or alteration by a jeweller other than BOMOND will result in non-acceptance. Items should be returned with the original tag attached or included with the product. All returns undergo assessment by our operations team, typically taking 7-10 days for processing.

     

    Any repairs, resizing, or engraving conducted by a third party not registered or approved by BOMOND's jewellery workshop will nullify the manufacturing warranty.

    For return shipments, we recommend using a reliable courier and insuring the package for its full purchase value. BOMOND holds no liability for damage or loss during shipment.

     

    Jewellery repairs

    Our standard repair timeframe spans 14 to 21 working days. To initiate a repair, kindly reach out to our Customer Care Team. In rare cases of a manufacturing fault, our Lifetime Manufacturing Guarantee ensures complimentary repair services. Upon receiving your jewelry, we'll evaluate it, and if any charges are applicable, we'll communicate with you accordingly.

     

    If an item requires remaking, please anticipate a 3 to 5-week completion period for this process. For further details on repairs, feel free to contact us via email at sales@bomond.co.uk.

     

    Ring Resizing

    We provide resizing services tailored to your ring type and complexity. Our team is readily available to address any queries about ring sizes.

     

    Engagement and Diamond Rings:

    For plain bands, non-diamond, or non-gemstone set rings, we offer complimentary resizing within a range of 2 sizes up or down within 30 days of item reception.

    Resizing beyond this range incurs a fee of £140.

    For diamond-set or gemstone-set engagement rings, including custom-made ones, assessment is necessary to determine whether resizing or remaking is feasible. In both scenarios, a £140 fee will be applicable.

     

    Eternity Rings:

    Full eternity rings, due to their setting nature, cannot undergo resizing and must be replaced within 30 days of receipt. Kindly contact our team to explore alternative options.

     

    Half and ¾ eternity rings:

    These require assessment to determine if resizing is possible or if remaking is necessary, incurring costs based on size differences, with a minimum charge of £140.

     

    Wedding Rings:

    For plain bands, non-diamond, or non-gemstone set wedding rings, complimentary resizing within a 2-size range is available within 30 days of receipt. A £140 fee applies for resizing beyond this range, with all rings assessed before confirming the price.

     

    Diamond-set or gemstone-set wedding rings require inspection before resizing to ensure the setting allows for it.

     

    Custom-made rings:


    We offer complimentary resizing within a two-size range, up or down, within 30 days of receipt, provided resizing is feasible. Resizing beyond this range incurs a £140 fee. Upon receiving your request, our team will assess the possibility of resizing and discuss it with you. Depending on your ring's complexity, resizing may entail additional costs, which will be your responsibility.

     

    This also applies if the ring needs to be completely remade due to resizing limitations. Any additional costs will be communicated to you beforehand for your consideration before proceeding with the size alteration.
